#24060 Department of Public Works 2024 CDBG SIDEWALK AND ADA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT It is the bidder's sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is submitted prior to the date and time specified. Late, unsigned bids, or bids submitted via fax shall not be accepted. PROJECT LOCATION: The project areas include the following: 1. 10 Mayo Street: mid-block ramp at Mayo Street Arts. 2. East Oxford Street: intersections of East Oxford Street and Anderson, Smith, Mayo and Greenleaf Streets. 3. Sagamore Village: South side of Popham Street from Taft Ave to Cabot Street. East side of Purchas Street from Popham Street to 40 Purchas Street. 4. Woodford Street: North side of Woodford Street from Nevens Street to Forest Ave. South side of Woodford Street from driveway of 182 Woodford Street through driveway of 158 Woodford Street. OUTLINE OF WORK: The project includes, but, is not limited to the following items: 1. Demolition of the existing sidewalk, including brick, bituminous or concrete segments. 2. Installation of new brick, concrete and bituminous sidewalk where specified. 3. Installation of new and reset granite or concrete slipform curbing. 4. Reconstruction of pedestrian curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards. It is expected that meeting ADA standards may be challenging in some locations within the project area due to complexities of existing grading and site features, but doing so is critical to the project. 5. Installation of esplanade and tree wells. 6. Pavement markings Each prospective bidder will be required to obtain from the City each copy of the proposal form and each set of plans.
