The Board of Education of Calvert County, Prince Frederick, MD, is soliciting proposals from pre-qualified Contractors to provide bids for the Septic Replacement at Huntingtown Elementary School, 4345 Huntingtown Road, Huntingtown, Maryland 20639. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment required to construct a replacement septic system. The system shall include two concrete septic tanks, concrete wet well, concrete manholes, force main piping, disposal trenches, pumps, electrical infrastructure, and controls. The existing septic tank and vault shall be abandoned in place. Erosion and sediment control and site restoration are required. Please note that all bidders must be prequalified. Completed qualification questionnaires are due no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, 19 April 2024 and shall be submitted electronically or hardcopy mailed to Mr. Wayne Gleason, Supervisor for School Construction, Calvert County Public Schools, 1305 DaresBeach Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678, gleasonw@calvertnet.k12.md.us. REVISE paragraph 1.5A, second sentence to reflect revised deadline for questions or clarifications as follows: Questions requiring a clarification to the bid documents must be received no later than 4:00pm on WEDNESDAY, 8 MAY 2024. Work shall commence on or after Monday, 17 June 2024 and be completed NO LATER THAN Friday, 9 August 2024.
