Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The Work includes decommissioning existing gas fired generator (including capping existing gas and exhaust lines as required by Code) and replacing with new exterior diesel fired generators, complete with concrete foundation. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and an Agreement to Bond, issued by a Surety Company licensed to conduct business in Canada, and acceptable to the Owner. The Bid Bond shall be in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The Bid Bond shall be valid for a period of not less than forty-five (45) days from the date of the bid. The beneficiary named in the bond shall be the Owner. The Contractor whose bid is accepted will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond each for fifty (50%) percent of the bid price plus GST in accordance with the requirements of Clause GC 11.2 of the General Conditions.
