Renovation of a mixed-use development in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A four-story building generally consisting of classrooms, restrooms, dorm rooms. Work will include but not limited to demolition, elevator replacement, HVAC replacement, window replacement, concrete slab repair, with complete finishes, including mechanical, plumbing and electrical work as shown in the Construction Documents. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to The Alabama Public School and College Authority and ASMS Foundation in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Also, a copy of the General Contractor's license must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Additional bid submission requirements are stipulated within the Project Manual. All questions concerning the Project should be submitted in writing to the Architect's office, attention: Sarah Hicks: sarah.hicks@partnerarch.com or Mitch Peters: mitch.peters@partnerarch.com. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after bid date.
