Notice of Intent to Award Anticipated May 2024 SCOPE OF SERVICES Services requested include, but are not limited to, the following: Task 1: Project Management The Consultant will effectively manage the project by doing the following: Task 1 includes typical project management responsibilities, including communication with SacSewer and invoicing. a) Project Administration - The Consultant will establish internal procedures to maintain the budget and schedule throughout the entire project. The Consultant will prepare the following: o Monthly Status Reports o Task-by-task information on work completed in the prior report term o Estimated completion percentage o Outstanding issues to be resolved o Budget summary o A project schedule in Gantt chart format indicating baseline and current progress. o Monthly Invoices o Invoices are not considered complete without an attached status report. b) Health and Safety Plan - The Consultant will prepare a Health and Safety Plan covering any necessary field investigation. No fieldwork can proceed until the Consultant's Health and Safety Plan has been submitted. c) Conduct Project Meetings - The Consultant will lead the project kickoff and monthly progress meetings attended by SacSewer and appropriate consulting team members. The Consultant will also be responsible for preparing the agendas and meeting minutes. d) Quality Control and Technical Review - The Consultant will ensure the quality and accuracy of all deliverables. Anticipated Deliverables for Task 1 o Monthly status reports o Health and Safety Plan o Meeting agendas and minutes Task 2: Surge Tank Screening Evaluation a) Review the existing materials for pump stations S144, S145, and S147. i. Includes surge analysis and CARV maintenance records. b) Screen for new ideas and make recommendations. i. Take into consideration existing air relief valves and SacSewer maintenance schedules. c) Evaluate existing surge tank equipment at pump stations S144, S145, and S147. d) Determine the equipment required to re-operate or upgrade the surge tank equipment and provide recommended actions and alternatives. e) Implement approved recommendations. f) Document a comprehensive maintenance strategy for each surge tank system, including a frequency schedule. Available Documents for Review o Pump station drawings (see attachments). o Surge Analysis Report for Courtland and Thornton pump stations. o Surge Control Operation and Maintenance Manuals for Courtland and Thornton pump stations (includes surge control equipment specifications). Anticipated Deliverables for Task 2 o Findings and recommendations from Task 2 in a technical memorandum (three hard copies, searchable pdf, and original Word/Excel files).
