Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Jewell, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of December 16, 2024, construction is almost complete. The project consists of renovations to the existing concession stand located between the current baseball and softball fields at the high school. Work includes the removal of the existing roof system and exterior concrete paving. New work includes steel support columnsand foundations to support a manufactured wood truss roof system that spans over the existing concession stand and a new storage space. Interior work includes renovating the existing concessions space into a new women's restroom and renovating the existing storage space into the concessions area. Exterior materials include metal wall, roof, and soffit panels with custom colored cement board panels and translucent polycarbonate panels. Before the work is commenced, a conference shall be held to discuss the contract. The conference shall be attended by the General Contractor, Subcontractors, Owner's Representatives, Architect and Engineers Project cost is anticipated to be under Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($390,000) Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days following the date of the opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities and irregularities in the bids submitted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within ten (10) days after award in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
