Renovation of a residential development in Detroit, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Reference Number 0000348552 The Detroit Land Bank Authority (DLBA) respectfully requests proposals from pre-qualified general contractor vendors forthe renovation ofresidential properties associated with this RFP. Contractor shall provide lump sum to provide new electrical systems. Lump sum shall Include demolition of any existing wiring and boxes. Lump sum shall include installation of new: o 200-amp panel (up to 20 circuits) to code (Label breaker panel). o 220 Volt lines for dryer and stove o Dedicated circuits for electrical appliances, dryer, range, microwave, and dishwasher to code. o Junction boxes for smoke detectors and CO2 detectors necessary to meet code, o Receptacles and switches. Receptacles must be properly grounded. Install new GFCI receptacles per code. o Wiring for 5 pull chain lights in basement. o Receptacle and switch covers. o Labor and material for one dedicated circuit for receptacle above fireplace. o All lighting shall be LED All basement perimeter drains shall meet the following requirements: o At existing block foundations, drill holes at the web of each block at or below the floor level. o Fill excavated area between footing and basement slab with clean gravel sized between 1/2 inch and 1 inch. o Lay minimum 4" diameter perforated drainage pipe (schedule 30 perforated PVC preferred) on gravel. Pipe should slope to sump pump minimum one half inch for every 10'. Do not wrap pipes with landscape fabric. o Cover pipes with an additional layer of gravel to help filter our debris. o Cover with a layer of mold resistant dimpled drainage membrane to prevent soil and debris from entering the drain system. Bend membrane vertically up foundation and fasten to wall. o Finish with a layer of cement. Showerheads: Shower heads shall be WaterSense Certified. They shall have a maximum flow rate of 2.0 gallons per minute. Bathroom Faucets: Bathroom sink faucets shall be WaterSense Certified. They shall have a maximum flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute. Kitchen Faucets: Kitchen faucets shall be WaterSense Certified. They shall have a maximum flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute. Wall, Floor and Ceiling Plates In finish spaces and within sink and vanity bases, furnish a chromium plated sectional escutcheon on each pipe or hanger roof penetrating the wall, floor, or ceiling. Plates shall fit snugly.
