The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the placement of a CRS-2P 3/8" chip seal on Coyote Springs Road and the west leg of Pioneer Pkwy/Willow Creek Road Intersection. The project limit of Coyote Springs Road is 5 centerline miles covering the entirety of Yavapai County's maintenance limit. The project limit of Pioneer Parkway/Willow Creek Road Intersection begins at the west leg crosswalk and ends 674 feet west on Pioneer Parkway. Total estimated quantity of areas to receive a CRS-2P 3/8" chip seal are approximately 78,542 square yards at Coyote Springs Road and 7,026 square yards at Pioneer Parkway. The total quantity of fog seal coat is estimated at 8,557 gallons. Additional work to be conducted includes re-configuring and re-establishing paint striping and markings on Pioneer Parkway per construction plans and restoring existing paint striping on Coyote Springs Road. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Yavapai County will not be responsible for those bids submitted that are not marked appropriately and/or sent to the wrong address. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract.
