The purpose of our geotechnical evaluation will be to characterize subsurface geologic conditions at selected exploration locations, evaluate their impact on the project, and provide geotechnical recommendations for the design and construction of foundations, slabs, pavements, and utilities. This Geotechnical Evaluation Report addresses the proposed design and construction of the new daycare facility, located east of Wisconsin Highway 35 and West Avenue North in Dresser, Wisconsin. Per the information provided by DSGW Architecture, we understand the proposed project will include the construction of a 7,500 square foot, slab-on-grade wood framed building on the property located north of Dresser Elementary School in Dresser, Wisconsin Bids will be tabulated and tabled for later action. Bidders shall furnish the usual bonds (Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond) as required by the Specifications within seven (7) days after Notice of Award of Contract. Contractors are required to provide their anticipated construction schedule, including completion date, assuming acceptance of bid within 30 days from bid deadline. The desire is to complete the project as soon as feasible, but it is acceptable to be complete no later than September 2025. No Bidder shall modify, withdraw, or cancel his Bid or any part thereof for thirty (30) days after the time designated for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or bids and to waive any defects, irregularities or information in any proposal or bid, and to award the contracts to other than the lowest bidder, if in their discretion the interests of the project will be best served thereby.
