The project spans two City properties. There are four distinct project areas within John McLaren Park and one at Twin Peaks Open Space. Work is per the respective trail logs, trail segment maps, construction details, and direction in the field by the City Representative. The project involves trail construction (native soil, reinforced native soil, Park Tread, Box Steps, and stringer steps), grading, drainage, erosion control, irrigation, landscaping, restoration planting, restoration seeding, split rail fencing, signage, stone masonry, asphalt, concrete, and striping. The Contractor is advised to carefully review the access and schedule requirements for each trail segment, as well as sensitive habitat protection requirements. ESTIMATE: Approximately $2,200,000 Bid discounts may be applied as per Administrative Code Chapter 14B. LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20%.
