This project will consist of painting the exterior and interior walls at West View Campus. The purpose of the following painting specifications is to clearly indicate the surfaces to be painted, the types and qualities of paints to be applied, and the amount of material to be applied for each coat. This is a public works project. Contractors should use prevailing wage to determine the labor costs. Contractors and subcontractors must have a DIR registration number. Each bid must be submitted with a Bid Bond executed by the bidder and Surety Company, or certified check, or cashier's check or cash, in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety.
