As part of this development, SPIPB must bring its domestic wastewater treatment system up to standard. The new treatment system must be built on the site of the existing unaerated pond so it is necessary to install equipment to allow the temporary treatment of wastewater which will continue to be directed to the sewer network domestic during the work, and to drain and dismantle the existing pond before being able to build the new treatment system.
