Site work for a mixed-use development in Harrison, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of construction of a synthetic turf full depth install with under drain system for 5 infields @ Harrison Recreation Center, located @ 5637 TN-58, Harrison TN 37341. Contract Time- 90 calendar days Question Deadline 05/03/2024 - No interpretation of the meaning of the bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing addressed to autumnf@hamiltontn.gov . Any questions concerning the bid documents must be received by the engineer no less than ninety-six (96) hours before bid opening date. This project includes installation of a complete full depth install synthetic turf system including under field drainage, field markings, resilient infill material and field turf for 5 infields only @ Harrison Recreation Center. The lump sum bid shall include the construction of synthetic turf system, under field drain system with collector pipe, laser grading, demolition, erosion control measures, earthwork and accessories. Contractor shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, and all other incidentals to construct the synthetic turf and under field drain system per required regulations, and attached plans and specifications. Contractor shall be required to verify the location of all utilities and coordinate any utility relocations with utility companies and/or Hamilton County Parks and Recrecation. Contractor shall be a member of "American Sports Builder Association" or have 5 years experience in full depth install of synthetic turf. Contractor shall submit 3 references with full depth installation of synthetic turf. Contractor shall submit "as-built" drawings as part of the close-out documentation. All permit fees shall be included in lump sum bid. 1. Contractor shall provide all site preparation including all required clearing an grubbing, proper disposal of waste material, and existing culvert material. 2. Contractor is responsible for locating all utilities. Contractor shall determine the locations and depths of all existing utilities. 3. Contractor is responsible for all survey and layout of the project. 4. Earthwork grading, excavation, backfilling, and compaction of base material. Excavation work is specified as "unclassified". Unclassifed excavation includes all excavation, regardless of type, nature or condition of materials encountered. The Contractor assumes full responsibility to estimate the kind and extent of the various materials to be encountered in order to accomplish the work. Contractor is responsible for all quality control testing required to install the bridge system in accordance with manufacturer's requirments. 5. Contractor is responsible for installation and maintenance of erosion control measures as required by TDEC. SWPPP has been submitted to TDEC. 6. Hamilton County has applied for an LDP throufh the City of Chattanooga. Contractor is repsonbille for obtaining permit. 7. Contractor is responsible for installation and maintenance of safety fencing around all work and the posting of safety signs. 8. The Contractor shall keep the project area clean, and make sure that no trash or construction debris are strewn about the job site. All waste material and debris shall be properly disposed of on a daily basis.
