The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid guaranty in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the Bid. Each bid must be submitted on the required forms and be accompanied by Bid guaranty, in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, or surety bond payable to Lane County. Lane County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of Lane County that it is in the public interest to do so. Prequalifiation Required: To be eligible for award of Lane County Federal Aid construction contracts, bidders (prime contractors) must submit a prequalification application to ODOT according to ODOT's Oregon Administrative Rules and prequalification procedures at least ten calendar days before the Bid Closing date. (See 00120.00.) This requirement will be strictly enforced. Prequalification must be in the classes of work indicated in the project's special provisions, and the bid booklet. The Agency will reject bids from bidders who are not prequalified for the class of work indicated.
