Demolition for 1417 East Main Street Deadline to Submit Questions 4/12/2024 4:00:00 PM (CT) Direct all questions by e-mail to Tori.Ramsey@mtsu.edu citing ITB# 184763541 no later than April 12th, 2024 @ 4:00pm (CT). Institution will respond to all e-mailed written questions. Only written responses to written questions will be official, binding responses. Responses to written questions will be e-mailed to each vendor that receives this ITB and provides a single point of contact. These written responses will be incorporated by attachment into the ITB and will be considered amendments. The name of the vendors submitting the questions will not be disclosed in the answers. Proposer must raise any and all questions and/or concerns during the question and clarification period. Institution Responses to Emailed Questions 4/16/2024 4:00:00 PM (CT) Institution responds to written questions via e-mail by April 16th by 4:00pm (CT). Included work and all incidentals listed below. Require that all phases of the Work be executed by skilled craftsman experienced in their respective trades. 1.1.3 Contractor may subcontract any phase or portion of the work. However, such subcontract shall not relieve Contractor from enforcing the use of all required safety equipment by subcontractor and its employees providing any phase of the work. 1.1.4 All work must be in compliance with OSHA, TOSHA, EPA, TDEC, and any other regulatory standards that may apply Buildings and other surface and sub-surface structures as located within limits of the property located at 1417 East Main Street in Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130. In addition to the requirement to remove all structures, remove all manmade appurtenances from the specified project site. This includes, but is not limited to, such elements as sections of miscellaneous posts, barbeque pits, gravel driveways, concrete wheel stops, concrete driveway liners and the like. 1.2.1 Buried structures, foundations, basements, septic tank(s), heating oil tanks, and miscellaneous items located within limits of the properties. 1.2.2 Concrete slabs, sidewalks, brick steps, concrete wheel stops and associated spikes, and any other parking structures located within the property. 1.2.3 Remove any stumps, bushes, and shrubs immediately surrounding the residential structure(s) to complete the demolition work. Trees are to be professionally trimmed to allow for demolition machinery to work. All trees located on the property premises are not to be removed. 1.2.4 Utility service lines to the service pole or within 10 feet of the property. Water, telephone and gas lines may also be present on the property. All utilities serving the residence will need to be capped and removed. Make submittals required by the Contract Documents in a timely manner and at appropriate times in the execution of the work to allow for sufficient and prompt review by Owner. 2.1.2 Revise and resubmit all such documentation as necessary to establish compliance with the specified requirements. The house is 3,000 sf with a 648 sf basement. The garage is 300 sf.
