This project consists of Bituminous Seal Coat on roads listed on the bid form If designated as the successful bidder, the contractor will begin work on the date specified in the notice to proceed. Or as otherwise provided in the special requirements, and will complete all work on or before September 14,2024 Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, Windsor Township, Berks County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to the Township. All Contracts exceeding $10,000.00 shall be performed in compliance with Executive Order 11246, entitled, Equal Employment Opportunity," as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). In addition, all Contractors shall comply with the "Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause" as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05. Prevailing Wage rates do not apply to this Contract. The Bidder and all subcontractors must be prequalified by PennDOT for the type of project work specified in order to bid the project, and prequalification certificates must be submitted by the Bid- der and all subcontractors. Windsor Township, Berks County, reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items.
