City of Hamilton's Engineering Services is schedule to retain a general contractor to perform work at the Upper Wentworth St. Right of Way (ROW). The scope includes from the Lincoln M. Alexander Pkwy to just south of the site to King Fisher Road. This scope of work includes realignment of traffic islands, creation of new south entrance to terminal, new asphalt, provide service connections to water and sanitary brought to the property limit. The successful general contractor is to work with the City's Engineering Services as required and maintain delineation of space as required by the Ministry of Labour (MOL) Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Cadillac Fairview (Mall Owner) is responsible for relocating existing Tesla chargers and transformer associated with the chargers, westward transformer (feeding charger transformer to stay). The successful general contractor to coordinate work with and inform Cadillac Fairview of any disruptions, maintain access to the mall at all times. Construction: - Remove asphalt, concrete curbs and grade site. - Rework existing storm system connected to Lime Ridge storm system no street connection required. - Construction new eight (8) bay bus terminal - Five (5) to support articulating buses - Drivers washroom - Four layover bays - Installation of bus shelters - Digital information displays - Way finding - Bike racks - Lighting and security - Ticket vending equipment.
