A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Houston Airport System (HAS) is seeking a contractor to renovate the existing restrooms in the Terminal D Sterile Corridor at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This includes the janitor closet on the Mezzanine Level of Terminal D and connecting the restrooms into the Sterile Corridor at Gate D10. Project Summary: The Houston Airport System (HAS) is renovating the restrooms in the Sterile Corridor of Terminal D at IAH airport. This project will have one phase and must be substantially complete within 293 calendar days from NTP. DBE Goal: 6% Timetables Goals for minority participation for each trade: 27.3% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% Owner Rights: The City Engineer reserves the right to reject any schedule or report that fails to realistically or satisfactorily reflect completion of the Project scope of work or any agreed intermediate milestone. Failure of the Contractor to deliver satisfactory schedules or reports as required in the Contract Documents may result in actions by the City General Conditions. Liquidity Damages: The Parties recognize that time is of the essence for this Agreement and that the City will suffer financial loss if the Work is not completed within the Contract Time. Parties also recognize delays, expense, and difficulties involved in proving in a legal or arbitration proceeding actual loss suffered by the City if the Work is not completed on time. Accordingly, instead of requiring any such proof, the Parties agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty), Contractor shall pay the City the amount stipulated in Document 00800 - Supplementary Conditions, for each day beyond Contract Time.
