The project consists of the following generally described work: The Town of Yemassee Water & Sewer Improvements project consists of water and sewer utility improvements in various areas of the Town of Yemassee, SC. These projects include proposed water main replacements or extensions, and a gravity sewer extension Bids shall be accompanied by a bid be or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% ofthe base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in South Carolina with an "A' minimum rating ofperformance and a financial strength of at least five times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Ra Guide Property Liability." Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% ofthe contract price shall be required ofthe successful bid if contract is awarded.
