Light posts must be as specified here in and per the attached specifications or approved equal. Attached pole literature by Hadco is provided to establish minimum quality, standards and shape configuration and is not meant to limit competition. All poles must be furnished with approved 20 AMP 120 Volt GFI rated receptacle that meets National Electric Code requirements with water and dust cover rated for exterior installation. Location is minimum 10' above grade. Posts must be able to fit on existing posts boxes, bolt sizes and pattern and must be able to fit without alteration of source. Light fixtures/head must be per the attached specifications from Holophane or approved equal. Literature is provided to establish minimum quality, standard and shape configuration that are needed and is not meant to limit competition. Fixtures must be suitable to fit perfectly on the light posts specified and without any further modification or alteration in the field. Manufacturer qualified representative must visit and familiarize themselves with the project site, the location and spacing of the light and to recommend nominal lumens. Shown lumen values are given as minimums. The Board of Estimate and Apportionment reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, and to accept the bid which it considers to be in the best interest of the City of Middletown.
