The project name is: Springville Road Widening Improvements PCC Entrance - Joss Avenue The work to be done under this contract consists of the following in Washington County: 1. Implement temporary traffic control and temporary erosion control measures, 2. Perform earthwork, 3. Perform watermain, Sanitary, and storm sewer replacement work. 4. Install Retaining Wall Nos. 24226, 24228, 24227 and 24230. 5. Install Retaining Wall E. 6. Install Culvert Nos. 24225 and 24229, 7. Perform cold plane pavement removal, 8. Perform RRFB modification and install traffic signal, illumination and interconnect systems, 9. Construct aggregate base and asphalt concrete pavement, 10. Construct concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks and ramps, 11. Install permanent signing and striping, 12. Install illumination, traffic signals and interconnect system, 13. Install permanent seeding and landscaping, 14. Construct water quality facilities, 15. Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. The Project cost range is $5,000,000 - $15,000,000 PRE-BID MEETING The County will not hold a pre-bid meeting for this project. A bid bond on the County's Bid Guaranty form, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, certified check, or cashier's check, of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Bids may be rejected by the County for non-compliance with prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and for good cause, upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
