The City of Tifton requests sealed bids for the construction of the project entitled Agrirama Lift Station Rehabilitation and Force Main. The work shall generally consist of furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary for the rehabilitation of an existing sanitary sewer lift station, a 6,300 LF of sanitary force main pipeline and other associated work. Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by the State of Georgia Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashiers check in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. The City of Tifton reserves the right to waive all technicalities, reject any or all bids, and make the award in the best interest of the City. Rehabilitation of an existing sanitary sewer lift station, which includes but is not limited to demolition, tree clearing, site grading, installation of a precast wetwell, submersible pumps, mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment, and other associated work. A 6,300 LF sanitary force main pipeline will also be constructed, via open cut and multiple sections of horizontal directional drilled or free-bored pipe. Multiple air release valves will be installed as well. Other work includes a gravity sewer jack & bore crossing, short section of gravity sewer pipeline, and manhole construction, traffic control, erosion control, and other miscellaneous work.
