Construction of two new sewer lift stations with an initial capacity of 1.3 mgd each and a build-out capacity of 2.22 mgd and 2.07 mgd for Lift Stations 1 and 2 respectively. Lift Station 1 is located at 6467 W 2425 N, West Point, Utah and Lift Station 2 is located at 5812 W 1925 N, Hooper, Utah. Each lift station includes deep excavation with extensive dewatering, dry pit submersible non-clog wastewater pumps, in-channel grinders, equipment handling facilities, electrical power and control system, stand-by generator and transfer switch, HVAC systems and equipment, cast-in-place grinder vault, wet well, and dry pit, CMU building with equipment access area, electrical room, civil site and road improvements, and connections to a new gravity sewer and a new sewer force main constructed by others. The bid includes five bid schedules: Bid Schedule A - Sewer Lift Station 1 Bid Schedule B - Sewer Lift Station 2 Bid Schedule C - Lift Station 1 Pump Alternatives Bid Schedule D - Lift Station 2 Pump Alternatives Bid Schedule E - Price Reduction if Contractor is Awarded Both Lift Stations 1 and 2 Owner Rights: The Owner reserves the right to award each lift station to two separate contractors or award both lift stations to a single contractor based on the results from all five bid schedules. Project has an expected duration of 548 calendar days. Liquidity Damages: . Bid prices will be compared after adjusting for differences in time of Substantial Completion (total number of calendar days to substantially complete the Work) designated by Bidders. The adjusting amount will be determined at the rate set forth in the Agreement for liquidated damages for failing to achieve Substantial Completion, or such other amount that Owner has designated in the Bid Form. Bond Notes: A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents.
