Base Contract A: Demolition of Existing concrete sport/basketball courts, demolition of existing concrete curbing, removal of old basketball hoops & associated basketball hoop foundations and removal of asphalt walkways. Base Contract B: Electrical Service upgrades – replace/convert existing overhead electrical service with new underground electrical service. This will include coordination with JCP&L (estimated lead time to schedule for disconnect/reconnect switchover is 30 days from JCP&L). Base Contract C: Installation of new asphalt sports court including basketball court with sport coating system with alternate bids for installation of asphalt pickle ball courts with sport coat system and additional asphalt small scale basketball court with sport coating system. The contract will also include but not limited to final excavation/grading of subgrade, installation of DGA subbase, HMA asphalt court(s) and installation of fencing and gates, installation, sports nets and basketball netting and landscape restoration. This contract has bid options for alternate bid work. The work to be performed under this Contract must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the date in the Notice to Proceed Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21 CONSENT OF SURETY: Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION: Bidders are required to be registered by the NJ Department of Labor at the time bids will be received by the Project Owner pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 2003, c. 91, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51). Effective September 1, 2004, Bidders are also required to be registered by the NJ Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue at the time bids will be received by the Project owner pursuant to the Business Registration Act (P.L.2004, c.57, N.J.S.A.52:32-44).
