As of June 28, 2024, project is awarded to CG&B Enterprises Inc. $1,070,032 or Oasis WaterPlayGrounds Inc. $250,000. The Nye County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the Town of Pahrump, State of Nevada (herein called the "COUNTY") invites bids from qualified contractors to provide design, engineering, architectural and construction of a new 1,500 square foot splash pad at the Simkins Park. The location of the project is 1350 E. Simkins Rd., Pahrump NV 89060. COUNTY is seeking a qualified company with splash pad experience as well as experience working with municipalities. The bidder must include cost to comply with the requirements as stated in Section 2.10 "Description of Work" and Section 2.11 "Bid Item Clarifications." It is anticipated a Contract will be awarded on or about May 21, 2024, pending approval by the Nye County Board of Commissioners. Envelopes containing the bids must be sealed and addressed to the Nye County Purchasing Division, 2041 E. Calvada Blvd North, #3, Pahrump, NV 89048, and labeled: TOP 2024-02: Simkins Park Splash Pad Construction The COUNTY may, but need not, consider any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may, but need not, waive any informalities or errors in form. The COUNTY reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of the bids or any authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 30 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
