**As of May 21, 2024, the project was awarded to PipelineManagement Company, LLC, with a total project scope capped at $659,326.52.** Rehabilitation and televising of existing sanitary sewer throughout Orion Township via cleaning, cutting and grouting, CIPP lining, point repairs, and full replacement. Additional Description: Bid Security in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond for a sum no less than 5 of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. A. Provide bypass pumping as required throughout the duration of the Work to maintain continuous sanitary sewer service. B. Contractor to provide, operate, maintain, and remove all equipment, and provide all labor, materials, and supplies required for temporary bypass pumping and flow control precautions. A. Bypass pumping contractor shall specialize in the design and operation of temporary bypass pumping systems; and provide a minimum three references of projects of a similar size and complexity completed in the last 10 years; Mersino Dewatering, Inc., Allied Pump Rentals (allied technical Services, Inc.), Michigan CAT, or as approved. B. Provide bypass pumping while utilizing either an existing manhole(s), wet well, and bypass tee. C. Provide backup equipment to ensure continuous sanitary service. D. Maximum sound level produced from the pumping system and engine generators not to exceed 75 dB at a distance of 50 feet. E. Provide high level alarm in the bypass pumping manhole. Alarm shall be transmitted to Contractor and Owner. F. Contractor shall have designated personnel for on-call maintenance and operation of the bypass pumping facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during bypass operations. G. All costs for bypass pumping shall be included in the unit price bid for items of Work unless otherwise specified. A lump sum pay item is provided for all bypass pumping or flow control required on the project with exception of the 42-inch channel rehab, which is incidental to that item of work.
