Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Forest Hill, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The scope of the project includes, but not limited to, the following: 1. Remove and dispose the entire bridge superstructure and substructure. 2. Construct a new bridge superstructure and substructure, which will be founded concrete abutments on steel H piles. The proposed bridge will be a 33’ long single span prestressed concrete beam superstructure with a reinforced concrete deck supported by reinforced concrete abutments on steel H Piles. 3. Full depth pavement reconstruction along the approach roadways, including grading, paving and other miscellaneous items. 4. Construction of entrances, curb, pipe culvert and swales. 5. Replacement of traffic barriers per contract plans. 6. Installation of imbricated riprap. 7. Maintenance of traffic, including providing, maintaining and removing the temporary detour signs.
