Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Johnson City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of May 17,2024 project was awarded but awarded amount is not available.** Work shall include, but not be limited to: all equipment, labor, materials and services as required for the conversion of the existing 8 lane track to a new 8x6 lane track with D-zones and throws areas, including Demolition, site grading and rock removal, erosion & sediment control, paving, earthwork, drainage work, water, electric, fencing & gates, end line netting, track surfacing and markings and all work shown on the contract documents to complete the project ready for use. All technical questions and/or substitution requests for pre-approval shall be directed to Daniel Deats, CHA at ddeats@chacompanies.com for bid submittal questions please contact Purchasing at 423-975-2715 or purchasing@johnsoncitytn.org The conversion of the field inside the running track from natural grass to synthetic turf including earthwork, drainage work, irrigation system changes/improvements, scoreboard, chain link fencing and gates, channel drains, panel drains, geotextiles, field subbase, synthetic turf, storm drainage piping and SWM systems, , site grading including rock removal, erosion and sedimentation controls and all work shown on the contract documents to complete the project ready for use. Project substantial completion shall be within106 calendar days and final completion shall be within 120 calendar days of contract issue, otherwise penalties apply. All Bidders must be licensed contractors asrequired by Contractor's Licensing Act 1994 (TCA Title 62,Chapter 6) and all requirements therein. The project requires a 5% Bid Bond, specific insurance and 100% Payment and Performance Bond and the Criminal History Affidavit. Contractors must comply with all Drug Free Requirements. The City reservesthe right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid or bidsthat are judged to be in the best interest of the City.
