Renovation of a medical facility in Saguenay, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The project involves replacing medical imaging equipment. DST3535. Firstly, it will be necessary to see the feasibility of the project by checking whether the selected spaces are sufficient to accommodate this new equipment. Secondly, the space will have to be re-arranged and/or reorganized. Everything must comply with applicable standards while respecting the normative frameworks of the MSSS for this type of installation. This project will be carried out in phases in Wing A on the ground floor of Jonquiere hospital: Phase 1 - Redevelopment of echo room No. 5 for the replacement of digital x-ray equipment. Phase 2 - Temporary relocation of three ultrasound rooms including the moving and temporary rearrangement of the spaces used (administrative offices). Phase 3 - Renovation and redevelopment of the ultrasound rooms vacated to accommodate the new TACO and related service spaces Phase 4 - Development of the old TACO room to permanently install the three ultrasound rooms. Phase 5 - Redevelopment of room 3 (radiography) for the replacement of digital radiography equipment. Phase 6 - return/redevelopment of administrative offices relocated in phase 2. TIMELINE: Design development is underway. Tender and construction schedules will be finalized at a later date. Further update in late 2025/early 2026.
