Project Description: The Beaver Lake Dam 2024 works will include: building a cofferdam from locally sourced materials in-front of the existing dam; construction a siphon to maintain stream flows around the cofferdam; blasting below the cofferdam to remove some high spots prior to construction; tree clearing for pit access and around the main dam per drawings; installation of turbidity curtains for duration of in-water works, and bubble curtains during blasting. Construction Manager: Chandos Construction Ltd is the Construction Manager on this Project (as defined in CCDC5B) working as Construction Manager for the District of Lake Country (the Project Owner) under the CCDC-5B Construction Management for Services and Work Agreement. The District of Lake Country shall have no contractual relationship whatsoever with any potential supplier or subtrade contractor that submits a quotation to the process detailed herein. This quotation process shall be conducted solely by Chandos Construction Ltd, and all inquiries shall be directed to the Chandos Construction contact named herein.
