This project includes pavement reconstruction and widening of the 37th Street corridor from Kenosha Street to Albany Street. The new asphalt configuration will include one through lane in each direction with a two-way-left-turn lane. The proposed project includes approximately 3,950 linear feet of concrete sidewalk, approximately 2,900 linear feet of Rural Water District waterline, approximately 2,875 linear feet of curb and gutter, storm drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous items. As a Proposal Guarantee, a certified check, cashier's check, bid bond or irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured financial institution as required by law must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid made payable, without reserve, to the City of Broken Arrow. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by City of Broken Arrow in the amounts equal to the Contract price. The acceptance and award of this Bid will be considered by the Broken Arrow City Council. The City of Broken Arrow reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Project will be awarded to the responsible Bidder with the lowest base bid or lowest combined base and additive alternate bids, if any, which is most advantageous to City of Broken Arrow. Applicable additive alternates, if any, will be determined at the City of Broken Arrow's discretion. The lowest responsible Bidder will be notified within ten (10) working days of the Bid opening as to when this Public Construction Contract will be placed on the Broken Arrow City Council Agenda for consideration. Contract time for the project shall be Three Hundred (300) calendar days.
