Sealed bids should be labeled "4th stand mcnair ave drainage improvements - bid" on the outside of the envelope. This work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the following4th St and McNair Ave Drainage Improvements: The proposed work consists of the removal and replacement of catch basins, connections to existing storm sewer pipes, regrading of ditches, extension of corrugated metal pipe,construction and installation of precast concrete headwalls, pipe cleaning, and adjustment of inlets. Digital copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained at no cost upon Engineer's receipt of a completed request/release form provided by Engineer. Bidders may bid any Contracts, individually or in combination, for the proposed work. Bidders do not have to bid all contracts to be considered. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present a performance and payment bond in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the City of Madison. All applicable laws, ordinances, and rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract. This project is subject to availability of project funds. The City of Madison reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids; to reject any or all bids; and to determine which bid is the lowest and best for the improvements.
