Reference Number 0000348747 Job Location: Colorado Springs Question Deadline 05/14/2024 at 3:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No UTILITIES is seeking a CONTRACTOR to install cathodic protection test stations and anodes. Utilities has over 1200 miles of metallic finished water transmission and distribution mains and over 260 miles of metallic raw water pipelines that need to be assessed add wastewater numbers. Cathodic protection is an alternative used by Utilities to extend the service life of these assets. Finished water pipelines and wastewater pipelines are located within the Colorado Springs Utilities Service Territory, the Raw Water System spans many different counties and jurisdictions. Utilities requires a CONTRACTOR who can assess metallic pipelines through excavation or potholes and who has the capability to install all components of a galvanic cathodic protection system. Utilities intends to make multiple awards for five (5) year, Task Order based Contracts.
