Reference Number 0000348742 The Contractor will create a new well site to replace the old east well in the Controlled Marsh area at the Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt. The Contractor will determine placement, type, and installation of the well that will supply water to the controlled marsh areas with final approval from Polk County Conservation. The Contractor will provide electrical services necessary to operate the new pump. Question Deadline 5/28/24 4:00 PM Questions are submitted online Yes. General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 %. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to Polk County Conservation Board. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a certificate of liability insurance within thirty days of the award of the contract will be just and sufficient cause for the rescinding of the award and the forfeiture of the bid security. Award Date: May 8, 2024 Notice to Proceed: May 9, 2024. Project Completion Date: August 1, 2024 *The Polk County Conservation Board reserves the right: To reject any and all bids. To waive technical or insubstantial irregularities when not shown to have resulted in any unfair advantage to any bidder.
