Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lodi, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
For the following work: Lodi Board of Education Building Roof Repair and Replacement Terms of proposal and Surety required are fixed by the specifications. All requests for clarification and/or interpretation by Bidders must be submitted in writing to ENV by April 25, 2024 at 4:00 PM. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, drawn to the order of the Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid but not in excess of $20,000. A 100% performance bond will be required of the successful bidder. (18A:18A-24). Bidders must be pre-qualified to bid on work specified by the New Jersey State Board of Education (Title 18A:18A-27). Bidders must also comply with the provisions of the Public Disclosure Law, N.J.P.L. 1977 c.33. Bidders are required to comply with requirements N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment will be in the best interest of the School District. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defects or informalities in any bid, should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the District to do so. The Board will not assume responsibility for bids not delivered in person to the Board of Education at the time called for bid opening. BUSINESS REGISTRATION NJ Public Law 2004, c. 57, requires all businesses to provide proof of registration with the NJ Department of Treasury to conduct business with any school districts. The Work consists of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the installation of new asphalt shingle roofing, rolled roofing, ridge vents, aluminum gutters, snow guards and louvers at four dormer locations. Work also includes but is not necessarily limited to the removal of existing asphalt shingle roofing and rolled roofing, underlayment felt, fasteners, flashing, gutters and dormer foe windows. All roofing work must be done through a certified roofing manufacturer contractor to achieve the manufacturer roofing warranty. There is also structural wood framing repair work at the roof wood joists and wood columns inside of the attic space. The attic space has access from the top floor through a hatch
