Title: Gas & Diesel Fuel Pumps Replacement- Phase I- (Multiple Locations) Martinak State Park, 137 Deep Shore Road, Denton, MD 21629 Tuckahoe State Park, 13070 Crouse Mill Road, Queen Anne, MD 21657 Church Creek Forestry Work Center, 4329 Golden Hill Road, Church Creek, MD 21622 SCOPE: 1. This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to replace one (1) gasoline pump and one (1) diesel pump at each location: Martinak State Park at 137 Deep Shore Road, Denton, Caroline County, Maryland , Tuckahoe State Park at 13070 Crouse Mill Road, Queen Anne, Maryland & Church Creek Forestry Work Center at 4329 Golden Hill Road, Church Creek Maryland 21622 2. The proposed project shall include but is not limited to the following: a. Remove one (1) electronic gasoline pump per site and dispose of off each site. b. Remove one (1) electronic diesel pump per site and dispose of off each site. c. Furnish and install five (5) bollard sleeves at Martinak State Park. d. Furnish and install eight (8) bollard sleeves at Tuckahoe State Park. e. Furnish and install two (2) bollard sleeves at Church Creek Forestry Work Center. f. Furnish and install one (1) electronic gasoline pump with cabinet and pedestal to include one (1) hose and nozzle per each site. A total of three (3) Gas Pumps g. Furnish and install one (1 ) electronic diesel pump with cabinet and pedestal to include one (1) hose and nozzle per each site. A total of three (3) Diesel Pumps. h. Remove Safety Decals and dispose of off-site at all locations. i. Furnish and install fifteen (15) Safety Decals per site. Total of forty-five (45) safety decals j. Remove and properly dispose of all excess materials and debris off each site. NOTE: All quantities listed above are approximate. The Contractor shall be responsible to obtain his or her own measurements for the project and bidding purposes. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES: If the State of Maryland or other regulatory body requires a license or certificate to perform the services required, please provide the copy of license number and date of issuance in submission with other required documentation. A copy must be mailed or faxed. COMPLETION TIME AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The Contractor agrees that the price will be firm for a time period of ninety (90) calendar days from the bid opening date to execution of the contract by the State. The work shall be completed within 90 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $150.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions". All prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the site and familiarize themselves with all requirements for the project. Failure to do so will not relieve the successful bidder from complying with the requirements of these specifications at no additional cost to the State. It is strongly encouraged you be at the site meeting to see each site. All prospective bidders are to meet at Pre- Bid site location and we will then proceed to the other two (2) site locations. The State reserves the right to cancel a solicitation, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any minor irregularity in a bid in accordance with COMAR21.06.02
