The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a service contract with qualified Contractor/s that are specialized in providing sealant, caulking, waterproofing, and other related services as outlined in this solicitation for 1GPA Cooperative Members (Members) as needed. 1GPA is a non-profit national governmental purchasing cooperative which allows public agencies to take advantage of existing contracts to purchase the goods and services they need from local and national vendors. Eligible using members include school districts, charter schools, universities, colleges, cities, towns, municipalities, counties, states, local governments, federal government, Native American communities, fire districts, and any other political subdivision. The Scope of Work outlined in this solicitation encompasses an extensive range of services pertaining to interior and exterior sealant application, caulking, and waterproofing. Licensed, bonded, and insured Contractors shall provide all personnel, labor, plant, equipment, parts, tools, supplies, supervision, management, transportation, and other items necessary to perform work including disposal of all debris and associated materials. This is NOT an "All or Nothing" solicitation. Offerors are encouraged to submit proposals on single or multiple categories and/or for single or multiple regions. The items listed below are not intended to be an exhaustive list of services or applications. The resultant contract will include any related products and services. Owner Rights: 1GPA in no way represents that the insurance required is sufficient or adequate to protect the Contractors' interest or liabilities. 1GPA Members reserve the right to request additional types of insurance and documentation regarding insurance provided. 1GPA Member reserves the right to reject any or all insurance companies with an unacceptable financial rating. Bond Notes: Bid bonds or other security may be required for material or service contracts to guarantee faithful bid and contract performance. Bid security as a percentage of the bid amount is unacceptable for this procurement, as this is a term service contract with no specific bid amount. An acceptable bid security/bid bond in the amount of $100,000 is required with submission of the Proposal. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: Performance and Payment Bonds between the 1GPA Member and the prime contractor shall be executed on forms substantially equivalent to the forms provided herein if the value of the service contract exceeds $100,000, or as otherwise requested by the Member. Upon execution of a contract between 1GPA Member and Contractor, performance and payment bonds shall be provided to the Member as required. The Contractor agrees to notify the 1GPA Member in writing of this requirement before accepting any work orders. If the Contractor fails to deliver any required performance or payment bonds, the contract may be terminated. Performance Bond - an irrevocable security in the amount of 100% of the total contract price payable to the 1GPA Member, binding the contractor to provide faithful performance of the contract. Payment Bond - a non-revocable security for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to the contractor or any subcontractor for the performance of any work related to the contract. Payment security shall be in the amount of 100% of the total contract price and be payable to the 1GPA Member.
