The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Remove and dispose existing pre-cast steps or steps cantilevered to foundation and railings. Remove any foundation anchor of railings anchored to the steps without damaging the foundation walls. 2. Removal and disposal of the existing pathway section that gives access to the unit (asphalt, concrete, interlock, or unit pavers) to set up a new base for new steps; 3. Seal any openings in foundation after removal of existing steps with Polyurethane Waterproof Concrete Sealant; 4. Review with Project Manager and replace the kick plate under the door sill, if damaged, with new wood block, 5/8" plywood, seal, and new prefinished metal kick plate, colour white; 5. Regrade away from foundation, and install new compacted base material, and patio stone layout to receive new front steps and accessories as per drawings and specifications; 6. Measure correct heights to match OBC requirements for household egress, to adjust landing heights. 7. Installation of New Pre-cast Front Steps, to Match Existing Width, With Exposed Aggregate Finish, and Painted Railings; Number of Raisers May Vary Based on New Measurements. 8. Single Step Adjusting Involves Removing Temporarily Existing Steps, Re-grading Existing Soil, Incorporate New Aggregate, Re-lay the Patio Stones, and Re-install Existing Steps; 9. Light Asphalt Work Involves the Installation of New Aggregate Base, and Asphalt Pathway or Paving Section Giving Access to the Unit, Flash and Level to the Front of New Steps, or in All Sides as Existing; 10. Install New Double or Single Railings as Indicated and Required on Existing Units; 11. Table With Unit Address and Details for Front Steps Replacement, and Railing Install, is Included in Schedule H; 12. Complete the Pathway Access Paving Repairs and All Reinstatement of Landscaping; 13.
