Site work for a mixed-use development in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
44A Street Underground (Water & San) and Surface Improvements (Road) Water The water line is to be replaced with a 200mm water line from Tee "DCA2" to Valve 59F. The work will include 285m of water line, 8 water services to the property line, 8 new CC valves, 1 new valve, 1 new cross, one new hydrant service, and one new hydrant. Sanitary The sewer line is to be replaced between and including Manhole D280 and D27A. This work will include 200m of 150mm sanitary line, 3 manholes, and 8 sanitary services to the property line. Roadway The existing laneway from 51 Avenue to 50 Avenue is to be reconstructed into a roadway. Asphalt is to be at least a collector standard, and width is limited by the 10m wide right of way. The cross-section of the roadway will not be able to meet collector standards and a modified cross-section will be required. Space for a 1.5m mono walk on one side is preferred. Roadway elevations to tie into existing adjacent properties and ensure positive drainage from the adjacent properties.
