Well Nos. 3 and 4 Filter Rehabilitation. The Project Includes the Following Work: Replacing Filtration Media; Underdrain Nozzles; Filter Distribution Header Piping; Filter Interior and Exterior Coatings; Control Valves, Actuators, and Solenoids; Air Release Valve, Ball Valves, and Piping; Sample Taps and Ball Valves; Lower Vessel Drain Ball Valve and Piping; Differential Pressure Gauge and Rate of Flow Gauge Panels; Air Compressor and Dryer; and Manways at the Well Nos. 3 and 4 Treatment Facility. The Bid Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security Made Payable to Owner in an Amount of 10% of the Bidder's Maximum Bid Price. The Town of Brookfield Sanitary District No. 4 Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Technicality, and to Accept Any Bid Which It Deems Advantageous. All Bids Shall Remain Subject to Acceptance for 85 Days After the Time Set for Receiving Bids. Contract Award Shall Be Made Based on the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder. The plans and specifications are hereby approved by the department subject to the conditions below.
