The Town of Wallingford is accepting bids for "Custodial Services Pond Hill and Stevens Elementary Schools". CONTRACT PERIOD OR DATE DELIVERY REQUIRED From 7/1/24 Thru 6/30/27 Material supplied will be billed at a rate of 10% above vendor cost as evidenced by the vendor's itemized invoice from their supplier (to be submitted with vendor's invoice). This 10% surcharge also applies to total equipment replacement. Owner reserves the right to supply material for installation by the contractor. Cancellation of the contract for cause excludes the vendor from being awarded on any subsequent Board of Education contracts for a period of 1 year according to the Town of Wallingford Purchasing Department Policy. After the 1 year, the vendor may apply for reinstatement to the Purchasing Department. The Town reserves the right to deduct from the contractor's invoice any costs incurred due to cancellation of this contract, including, but not limited to, costs for re-keying doors and changing security codes. Question Deadline 04/25/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions concerning the work requirements of this bid should be submitted through the Purchasing Portal at electronically or at online. Verbal inquiries and any subsequent verbal responses will not be binding to the Town of Wallingford. Answers to questions will be posted on the Purchasing Portal or via an addendum emailed to all registered bidders who have downloaded the bid online.
