Renovation of a residential development in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Replacement of existing intercom system on 32 unit building and addition of key fob access control. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to: Replacement of the existing intercom system and the addition of a keyless entry system 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing and paying for a construction administration software application to be used by all participants on the Project at no cost. Clarifications based on discussions and observations during the April 24, 2024 pre-bid walkthrough. 1. The existing intercom control panel, located in the electric room, is existing to remain. Note that landline telephone wiring to each unit is via terminal strips within intercom control panel. a. This panel is excluded from the scope of this project and should not be demolished. b. Existing interior (in-unit) intercom panels are to be removed. Cover plate to be provided. Splice any telephone wiring passing through this device to ensure continuity. c. Landline telephones shall be tested for functionality at the completion of the work in each unit.
