Renovation of a mixed-use development in Middleton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and residential development.

A. The work under the Contract consists of: 6 residential building roofs (buildings #1, #2, #3, #6, #7, T #8 ) 1. The scope of work on each of these buildings will consist of Complete shingle roof replacement including installation of 50-year asphalt shingles, new flashings, sheathing repairs or replacement, and ridge venting. Demo includes 2 layers of existing asphalt roofing shingles. Replace existing fascias with new PVC fascias. Replace existing soffits with new PVC vented soffits. Replace existing aluminum gutters with new aluminum gutters. Existing lead-coated copper downspouts to remain. Replace aluminum downspouts with new. Install 45 new concrete splash blocks where missing. Replace existing rake boards with new PVC rake boards Install new attic insulation to R-49. 2. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Roofing. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Middleton Housing Authority.
