The RM of Milton No. 292 is seeking proposals from qualified professional consultants to conduct a municipal district feasibility study to amalgamate the RM of Milton No. 292, the RM of Antelope Park No. 322, and the Village of Marengo. The successful proponent will be responsible for the completion of a municipal restructuring report with respect to the creation of a municipal district that would include the RM of Milton No. 292, the RM of Antelope Park No. 322, and the Village of Marengo. The municipalities are located in the west-central region of Saskatchewan near the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. The communities are agricultural-based communities with oil and gas assets in rural municipalities. Highways 7, 44, 51, and 317 run through the municipalities. The RM of Milton No. 292 also has a village within the boundaries. The successful proponent will be responsible for the completion of a municipal restructuring report with respect to the creation of a municipal district that would include the RM of Milton No. 292, the RM of Antelope Park No. 322, and the Village of Marengo. This would entail information and data gathering, public consultations, final report and strategy. The municipality reserves the right to select a successful proposal based not solely on pricing, but other related factors including but not limited to relevant experience, project knowledge, references, qualifications, and availability. The municipality does not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any proposal. Late proposals will not be accepted The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
