Reference Number 0000267885 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/04/24 04:00:00 PM EDT. General Contracting Services for Indigenous Center Renovations at Cornwall Campus. This project will involve renovations of existing offices to provide an open-office area with a kitchenette and a computer work section as well as a multipurpose office and a private office for management of the center. 1. Demolition of interior walls (see DSR report) and associated components as required to accommodate the new layout. 2. Repair/Commissioning of one exterior door to give direct outdoor access to the center. 3. The Creation of a multipurpose room which would meet the privacy and sound attenuation standards as required for a counselling room. 4. Creation of a private office space with a view panel that allows for activity monitoring in the open area. 5. Provision of an extractor system to allow for smudging activity to take place in the private offices. 6. Removal of entire entry door components and creation of a new doorway to give direct access to the open area. 7. Provision of a new sink and associated plumbing, as well as millwork for the kitchenette area and extra counter space in the open area 8. Provision of additional electrical receptacles, light fittings, and other fixtures as required. 9. Removal of section of the existing flooring (see DSR report) and finishing the floor with LVT and Carpet tiles as directed in the drawings. 10. Repainting of entire room, replacement of lighting (LED) and removal of the asbestos coating floor tile and treating the existing concrete floor with a sealer or coating. 11. Relocation and in some instance provision of existing fire alarm bell, heat detectors, Exit signs, Power door operators, as required.
