Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sebastian, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work for this project shall consist of furnishing all the necessary equipment, materials and labor for the repair of three boardwalks located on the Trans Florida Rail Trail. Boardwalks #1 and #2 are located at 95th Street, Sebastian, FL 32958, Parcel ID 31382200000100000005.0 (See Attachment 1). Boardwalk #3 is located at address unassigned (off CR512), Sebastian, FL 32958, Parcel ID 31382300000500000004.0 (See Attachment 1). The proposed scope of work will include replacing wooden decking on the three boardwalks and creating a level transition from the boardwalks to the trail. The work shall include the replacement of any damaged railings, stringers, cross members and resetting pilings as needed. Boardwalk photos are provided in Attachment 2. Rail Trail Boardwalk Repairs. The Bid Security will be retained by the County as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. If bid does not exceed $100,000, no Public Construction Bond will be required. Bid Security of other Bidders whom OWNER believes do not have a reasonable chance of receiving the award will be returned within seven days after the Bid opening. Bid Bond 5% if bid over $35,000. Indian River County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals which we deem to best serve the interest of the County.
