Mowing, edging, weeding and trimming of lawn areas. 4. Pruning and trimming of trees and shrubs. 5. Weeding of mulched areas. 6. Application of fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides. 7. General site clean up; removal of trash and products of maintenance. Question Deadline 05/01/2024 at 12:10 PM CT BID REJECTION/ACCEPTANCE: OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids submitted by the responsible Bidder, who, in the judgment of OWNER, will be most advantageous to the Owner and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Chapter 2258 of the Texas Government Code provides that any political subdivision of the State of Texas shall determine the general prevailing wage rate received by the classes of workers employed on projects similar to this project and shall specify in the call for bids and in the Contract the applicable minimum wage rates. Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, are set forth in the Agreement. After each Application for Payment has been found acceptable by OWNER, OWNER will pay 90% of the estimated value less any previous payments to CONTRACTOR. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a cashier's check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the Supplementary Conditions.
