Demolition, site work, paving, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Hebron, Nebraska. Working plans call for the addition of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of June 7, 2024, project will rebid. No definite date for the rebid.** Construction Hangar Extension The hangar extension will be a pre-engineered metal building system (PEMB), approximately 49' x 79' with 65' wide electric bi-fold doors and concrete floors. The project will provide 15' wide ramps for a drive through box hangar and two walk doors with grounding unit to accommodate fire code. The building will include interior lighting, optional floor drain and grit separator, and optional propane heating. Provide Utility Services to the Building The proposed building will require new electrical services. Water service and a floor drain with oil and grit separator and holding tank are considered alternate amenities constructed with this hangar extension. Services will be connected to existing utilities located south of the existing hangar, but not tied into the existing hangar electrical service. Document Notes : Paper copies may be procured from the office of the Engineer, Kirkham Michael, 5621 NW 1st Street, Suite 400, Lincoln, NE, 68521, upon fee payment of $100.00, none of which will be refunded. Bids will only be accepted from bidders receiving contract documents directly from Online or Kirkham Michael. Question regarding bids shall be directed to Kirkham, Michael & Associates, Inc. at the above address in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Hebron Airport Authority. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The owner has established a contract goal of 0.22 percent participation for small business concerns owned and controlled by qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The bidder shall make and document good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, to meet the established goal. The Hebron Airport Authority in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
