Work under this Contract generally involves: Horizontal directional drilling and installation of 2", 3" and 4" HDPE pressure pipe totaling approximately 4,600 LF, approximately thirty (30) 1-1/4 service laterals; installation of valves, clean outs, air release MH, sanitary MH construction, connection of HDPE pipe to discharge manhole; quality control and pipe testing; surface restoration of all disturbed areas. Bidders or vendors requesting next day, or special mailing will be responsible for all mailing or shipping charges. Bidders must be on record at the issuing office as an official plan holder. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of Contract Documents. Contractors must comply with the PA Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates, as specified in the Contract Documents. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications for bidders prior to awarding the contract.
