Demolition, site work and addition to a playground / park / athletic field in West Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

This project consists of resurfacing existing tennis courts and adding 2 new tennis courts. Work: 1. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to perform all excavation, backfill, grading and wall protection required to complete the work shown on the Drawings and specified herein. The Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to excavation, filling and grading to attain subgrades and grades indicated on the Drawings including all backfilling, grading, disposal of surplus or unsuitable materials and all related work such as sheeting, bracing and water handling. All sheeting, bracing and water handling, whether for safety of workmen or to protect structures, will be performed as part of required work with no additional cost to the Owner. 1. This section includes all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals to provide cast-in-place concrete curb and sidewalks to the lines, grades, thicknesses and strengths indicated in the plans as required to complete the project. Formwork,reinforcement, jointing, accessories, finishing and curing are all included in this section. This section includes all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals to provide a complete installation of chain link fence and gates as depicted in the construction plans as required to complete the project. MATCH EXISTING AT JOB SITE. A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to do the miscellaneous work not specified in other sections but obviously necessary for the proper completion of the work as shown on the Drawings. B. When applicable the Contractor shall perform the work in accordance with other sections of this Specification. When no applicable specification exists the Contractor shall perform the work in accordance with the best modern practice and/or as directed by the Engineer. C. The work of this Section includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Protection and/or removal and reinstallation of signs, lampposts and mailboxes. 2. Crossing and relocating existing utilities. 3. Restoring of roadways and pavement. 4. Protection and bracing of utility poles. 5. Restoring easement and right-of-ways. 6. Temporary facilities. 7. Cleaning up. 8. Incidental work. D. The Contractor's bid price shall include costs associated with this Section. The work specified herein is not shown on the Contract Drawings. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to develop his/her costs for this work based on site/field investigations prior to the bid. Builder's Risk Insurance shall be in an amount equal to the amount of the construction contract including any amendments and shall be upon the entire Work included in the contract. This work includes the construction and surfacing of a Concrete Post Tensioned tennis court. The General Contractor shall sub-contract the work to an experienced Sub Contractor. Submit three paper copies of each submittal unless otherwise indicated. Architect, through Construction Manager, will return two copies. 4. Informational Submittals: Submit two paper copies of each submittal unless otherwise indicated. Architect and Construction Manager will not return copies. Submit product schedule in the following format: a. PDF electronic file. b. Three paper copies of product schedule or list unless otherwise indicated. Architect, through Construction Manager, will return two copies. In addition to Shop Drawings, Product Data, and other required submittals, submit digitally signed PDF electronic file and three paper copies of certificate, signed and sealed by the responsible design professional, for each product and system specifically assigned to Contractor to be designed or certified by a design professional. Three paper copies. Include a complete operation and maintenance directory. Enclose title pages and directories in clear plastic sleeves. Architect, through Construction Manager, will return two copies. .
